When Daphne and Sabrina Grimm's parents disappear, the Grimm sisters are shuffled from one foster home to another until they are finally put in the custody of a "grandmother" they never knew about. "Granny Relda" tells the girls they are descendants of the brothers Grimm and that they are living in a town full of fairy-tale characters or "Everafters" as they like to be called. The girls are finally forced to believe the fantastical story when Granny Relda is kidnapped by a giant and it's up to the sisters Grimm to save her.
Ok, so I've never been in a book club before, so I don't really know what people do.... do you just talk about things you like about the book? Do we all wait until we reach a certain point so there's no spoilers for anyone?

ReplyDeleteThanks for the invite! I have never been in a book club before either but I think it sounds like a lot of fun. I will try to get to the library tomorrow to look for the book. (Also, Kirsten, thanks for sending us the link to your blog. We really enjoyed looking over the pictures and seeing what you all have been up to! Lexi and Ashton are both so adorable.)

ReplyDeleteOK, so I have to say (this is my second time reading it) that Sabrina kinda makes me irritated a little.... she's just such a pessimist... so jaded and rude, you know? Britton hated her for a while... lol... I have to keep reminding myself that shes an 11 yr old who thinks her parents walked out on her sister and her.
